Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the alpha ecosystem operated by Uneto Solutions Pvt Ltd (“Uneto”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), including Alpha Workspace, Alpha Education, Alpha Vendor, our websites, mobile and desktop applications, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using any part of the Services, creating an account, enrolling through an institution, publishing content, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

Alpha Workspace is the institutional admin portal for academic institutes. It supports admissions, academics, fees, hostel, library, communication, exams, and campus operations.

Alpha Education is the learning and collaboration platform for enrolled students, teachers, mentors, and institute-connected learners. It supports courses, assignments, exams, books, chat, and AI study assistance.

Alpha Vendor is the marketplace and publishing platform for instructors and publications. It supports listing courses and books, managing catalog content, sales, licensing, and payouts.

Some features span more than one product. Your use of each product is subject to these Terms and to any product-specific rules described below.

Institutions are schools, colleges, universities, coaching centers, and other organizations that register for Alpha Workspace or license content through the platform. Institution administrators must be authorized to bind the organization and must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction.

Students are learners who access Alpha Education through self-registration, institute enrollment, or course purchase. Students under the age of 18 may use the Services only with consent from a parent, guardian, or authorized institution, as required by applicable law.

Teachers are faculty or academic staff who teach, assess, or manage classes on behalf of an institution through Alpha Workspace and/or Alpha Education.

Instructors are independent educators or content creators who publish courses, books, or learning materials through Alpha Vendor, whether or not they are also affiliated with an institution.

Mentors are individuals who provide guidance, coaching, or supplemental learning support to students through institute programs or marketplace offerings. Mentors must use the Services only within the permissions granted to them.

Publications are publishers, imprints, or content houses that list, distribute, or license books and educational materials through Alpha Vendor or institute licensing workflows.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.

Institutions control workspace configuration, user provisioning, roles, permissions, and data shared within their organization.

Students, teachers, and mentors invited by an institution receive access according to the roles assigned by that institution’s administrators.

Instructors and publications register directly on Alpha Vendor or through an approved onboarding process and are responsible for maintaining accurate business, tax, and payout information.

We may verify identity, institutional authority, or publishing rights before granting or continuing access to certain features.

Institutions may purchase Alpha Workspace subscriptions or related plans. Fees, billing cycles, seat limits, and feature access are described at checkout, in order confirmations, or in a separate agreement.

Students and teachers generally access Alpha Education through institutional enrollment. Where individual purchases are offered, pricing and renewal terms are shown before payment.

Instructors and publications may sell courses, books, or licenses through Alpha Vendor. Platform fees, revenue shares, refunds, and payout schedules are disclosed in the vendor dashboard or applicable commercial terms.

Subscriptions and renewals may continue automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Applicable taxes may be added based on your location.

We may update pricing or plan features with reasonable notice. Continued use after a pricing change constitutes acceptance of updated fees for subsequent billing periods, unless otherwise required by law.

Institutions are responsible for configuring admissions, academic records, fees, attendance, exams, hostel, library, communication, and other operational workflows made available through Alpha Workspace.

Institutions must ensure that staff using the platform act within their assigned roles and comply with applicable education, employment, and data-protection laws.

Institutions are responsible for notices, consents, and permissions required to collect and process student, parent, teacher, and staff information through the Services.

Institutions remain responsible for academic decisions, grading, admissions outcomes, fee policies, disciplinary actions, and official communications issued through or outside the platform.

Students may use Alpha Education to access enrolled courses, assignments, exams, books, attendance records, results, chat, and AI study tools made available to them by their institution or purchased content provider.

Teachers may create, distribute, assess, and manage academic content, assignments, exams, and class communication within the permissions granted by their institution.

Mentors may interact with assigned learners, share approved materials, and participate in mentoring workflows only where enabled by an institution or authorized program.

Students, teachers, and mentors must not share exam content, restricted class materials, personal data of others, or confidential institute information outside permitted channels.

AI-generated study help, explanations, and practice materials are assistive tools only. Students remain responsible for academic integrity and for following institution rules on assessments and submissions.

Instructors and publications are responsible for the accuracy, quality, legality, and originality of the courses, books, media, assessments, and descriptions they publish.

You must have the rights, licenses, and permissions needed to publish and sell your content, including text, images, video, assessments, trademarks, and third-party materials.

Listings must not be misleading. Pricing, prerequisites, completion requirements, and licensing terms must be described clearly.

Alpha Vendor may review, approve, reject, suspend, or remove listings that violate these Terms, applicable law, or platform quality standards.

Instructors and publications are responsible for honouring refund, support, and delivery obligations communicated to buyers, subject to platform rules and applicable consumer law.

You agree to use the Services only for lawful educational, administrative, publishing, and collaboration purposes.

You must not misuse the Services, interfere with their operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape data without permission, upload malicious code, impersonate others, harass users, commit fraud, infringe intellectual property, or distribute unlawful or harmful content.

Institutions, teachers, mentors, instructors, and publications must respect learner privacy and use personal information only for legitimate educational or business purposes permitted by law and by their role.

We may investigate suspected violations and suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe these Terms, platform policies, or legal obligations require it.

Institutions, students, teachers, mentors, instructors, and publications retain ownership of the academic, administrative, commercial, and personal content they submit to the Services (“Customer Content”), subject to third-party rights.

You grant Uneto a limited, worldwide license to host, process, transmit, display, back up, and otherwise use Customer Content solely to provide, secure, maintain, support, and improve the Services and to fulfill legal obligations.

By publishing on Alpha Vendor, instructors and publications also grant Uneto the right to market, distribute, and display their listings within the platform and in related promotional materials for the Services.

You are responsible for obtaining all consents and rights needed to upload, share, sell, or process Customer Content, including student records, assessments, book excerpts, video lectures, and personal data.

The Services, including software, branding, design, documentation, workflows, and underlying technology, are owned by Uneto or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except for the limited right to use the Services under these Terms, no license or ownership interest in Uneto intellectual property is granted to you.

If you believe content on the platform infringes your rights, contact us with sufficient detail so we can review the claim.

The Services include automated and AI-assisted tools that may generate exams, study notes, mock tests, summaries, course outlines, explanations, and similar outputs across Alpha Workspace, Alpha Education, and Alpha Vendor.

AI outputs are provided for assistance only and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Institutions, teachers, instructors, publications, mentors, and students must review AI-generated content before using it in admissions, teaching, assessment, publishing, or official communications.

You must not rely on AI outputs as a substitute for professional, legal, medical, or regulatory advice.

The Services may integrate with or link to payment providers, email systems, cloud storage, analytics tools, app stores, identity providers, and other third-party services.

Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Uneto is not responsible for third-party products or services that we do not operate.

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Uneto does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, specific academic outcomes, admission results, sales performance, or suitability for every institutional, teaching, mentoring, or publishing need.

Institutions, instructors, and publications are solely responsible for the educational, commercial, and compliance decisions they make using the platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Uneto and its directors, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from your use of the Services.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to Uneto for the relevant Services in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred US dollars if no fees were paid, whichever is greater unless a higher minimum is required by law.

You may stop using the Services at any time. Institutions may cancel subscriptions according to the cancellation process available in the product or by contacting support.

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, create legal or security risk, or where required by law or by an institution’s administrative decision within its workspace.

Upon termination, access to product features may end and certain data may be deleted or retained according to our Privacy Policy, institutional settings, and legal requirements.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including those relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, payment obligations, and limitations of liability.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date.

Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, unless applicable law requires a different process.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local law requires otherwise.
